If you're a self levelling flooring professional and you've not experienced our new threadless quick release tripods, in sizes designed with you in mind - you're in for a treat! Head over to our blog for a bit more info, then get in touch for a video or face to face demo, and to place an order.
Do you use screed tripods or other metal items in the course of your work, which need restoring periodically in order to provide the professional finish you pride yourself on?
When we restore screed tripods, we blast the caked on screed away, straighten out any legs which have buckled during use, and free up the thread on the leveller. They're good as new when they come back to you, to be used time and time again.
One of the best time saving devices we have at our disposal these days is the use of compressed air to power our blasting tools - saving time and effort when it comes to the removal of rust, dirt and old paintwork, and also giving the best possible finish with new fabrication.
But which blast types do we offer and what is suitable for your metalwork project?
Shot blasting - this covers a number of different types of blasting media (the small pieces fired at your chosen surface to clean and prepare it for repainting if required). Shot blasting is used for many different materials, not just metal and can have uses such as cleaning patios or brickwork, blasting metal as part of restoration projects, or giving a clean surface to metal to enable it to better take a weld when we are creating bespoke pieces. The media used depends on the item being blasted and the finish required. We always match the media to the job in hand, to ensure the best finish.
Vapour / Wet / Aqua Blasting - Three names for the same thing here - using water and a small amount of specialist blast media, intricate components can be blasted clean. This method has many uses, but a popular one is for cleaning automotive components such as engine blocks or cylinder heads. When vapour blasting on mild steel, we use an inhibitor to prevent rust, but vapour blasting is a clear choice for aluminium products.
Don't know which is the right blasting solution for you? We love to talk to our customers and find the right solutions for them - our contact details are at the bottom of the page. You can always contact us and we can meet you to review your requirements if you're in the Reading, Wokingham or Newbury areas, or video call you if you're further afield for an initial chat.
